Royal Household Act
Be It Enacted By The Crown-In-Council:
Section 3.001 — Short title.
This act may be cited as the "Royal Household Act".
Section 3.002 — Definitions.
As used in this act, "royal household" means the Household of His Royal Highness The Grand Duke and all physical premises owned, leased, maintained, or otherwise designated by that entity.
Section 3.003 — Royal household; create; functions; authority of The Sovereign.
(1) The Household of His Royal Highness The Grand Duke is created as an entity of the state.
(2) The royal household shall provide assistance and support to The Sovereign in the exercise of all of the following:
(a) Royal duties and prerogatives.
(b) The role of head of state.
(c) The role of commander-in-chief of the armed forces.
(3) The royal household shall function under the direct and complete authority of The Sovereign or his designee.
(4) Those persons appointed to the service of the royal household serve at the pleasure of The Sovereign.
Section 3.004 — Lord High Steward; establish; appointment and term of office; delegation of authority by The Sovereign.
(1) The Lord High Steward shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of The Sovereign as the head of the royal household.
(2) The Lord High Steward shall serve as the implementing agent of all policies, practices, and customs of the royal household, as established by The Sovereign, and shall provide regular reports to The Sovereign on the activities of the royal household.
(3) The Sovereign may delegate to the Lord High Steward any powers and duties relating to the administration, management, and organization of the royal household.
