Government

The constitution of Eniarku, officially the Constitution and Basic Law of the Grand Duchy of Eniarku, establishes the foundation of Eniarkian sovereignty and is the source of the government’s legitimate political authority. The document is unique in that it does not provide for the true separation of powers, but rather vests all state power in the grand duke who, together with the Council of State, fulfills various institutional obligations to create, enforce, and interpret the laws of the state within certain constraints while respecting the fundamental rights and liberties of the citizenry.
