BALDWIN HOUSE, Glenora — Today marks the start of the annual Jubilee, a five-day series of celebrations that will culminate on Friday, 29 May, the seventeenth anniversary of Eniarku’s founding and second since the establishment of the grand duchy and ratification of the nation’s first constitution in 2024.

Water restrictions eased for Glenora and Palma
BALDWIN HOUSE, Glenora — Following a joint announcement by the local utility authority this afternoon that pressure has been restored to the repaired 42-inch water main, the usage restrictions announced early Sunday morning have been modified. Residents in both Glenora and Palma may resume using water in normal amounts, but should continue to boil all water meant for consumption until further notice. Full testing of the water flowing through the repaired supply line is anticipated to be completed within the next two weeks.

State of emergency declared in Glenora and Palma
BALDWIN HOUSE, Glenora — The government has declared a state of emergency for Glenora and Palma in response to a significant water main break in the region. The 42-inch American-operated main, which functions as the canton of Glenora’s primary source of potable water and lasted only half of its estimated 100-year lifespan, ruptured at approximately 1:30am EST after a leak had been detected on May 9 by the local water authority. The main also supplies a portion of the water to Palma, the northern portion of which reported little to no water pressure immediately following the break.

Grand Duke and Grand Duchess return from holiday
BALDWIN HOUSE, Glenora — TRH Grand Duke Alexander and Grand Duchess Elizabeth returned from their belated honeymoon earlier this evening, concluding their first royal trip abroad as husband and wife. The grand ducal couple spent a week in the Dominican Republic after departing the grand duchy last Wednesday, at which time HRH The Prince of August was temporarily deputized as the Lieutenant of the Grand Duchy under Article 19 of the constitution.

Eniarku admitted to the Conference of Santiago
BALDWIN HOUSE, Glenora — Shortly after 10pm this evening, the grand duchy was admitted to the Conference of Santiago by unanimous vote of the Plenary, the unicameral governing body of the organization. This development comes after nearly two months of coordination between the Government and the Duchy of Marienbourg, an observer member of the Conference and Eniarku’s effective sponsor in its bid for membership.

New honours announced; legislating resumes
BALDWIN HOUSE, Glenora — This past Friday, HRH The Grand Duke issued a package of Letters Patent appointing foreign dignitaries to orders of state for the first time in Eniarku’s history. The individuals conferred new honours by Letters Patent 2405-2408 are:
- HIM Jonathan of Austenasia
- HI&RAM Oscar of Karnia-Ruthenia
- HM William, King in Illinois
- The Rt. Hon. Rev. Joseph Marx

Return to the Community
BALDWIN HOUSE, Glenora — After several long months of planning and preparation, the Government is pleased to announce Eniarku’s official return to the Community after a nearly six-year period of inactivity. With yesterday’s ratification of the nation’s first codified constitution, the Grand Duchy of Eniarku came into existence at 12am EST as the official successor state of the now-defunct kingdom.
