National Security Act
Section 2.002 — Armed forces; functions and services; ranks.
The armed forces shall conduct any foreign or domestic military, intelligence, security, and police operations for the purposes of maintaining the following:
(a) The territorial integrity and sovereignty of the state.
(b) The security of The Sovereign and the royal household.
(c) The security of the Council of State.
(d) The general welfare of the public.
