Section 2.003 — State Guard; functions and services; ranks.

(1) The State Guard shall continue to function as the primary military and police unit of the armed forces.

(2) The Sovereign shall serve as the ceremonial commander of the State Guard as the colonel.

(3) The officer ranks of the State Guard shall be colonel, major, and captain, in descending order of precedence.

(4) The enlisted ranks of the State Guard shall be lieutenant, sergeant, corporal, and private, in descending order of precedence.
