Section 2.004 — General Intelligence Directory; functions and services.
(1) The General Intelligence Directorate shall continue to function as the primary intelligence and security unit of the armed forces.
(2) The Sovereign, on the advice of the Council of State, shall serve as the head of the directorate. The Sovereign may, with the consent of a majority of the Council of State, appoint a person to serve on his behalf as the Director of General Intelligence.
(3) The directorate shall support the activities of the State Guard to subvert threats and crimes against the state.
