A resolution for certain ORDERS-IN-COUNCIL on the materials and procedures related to applications for naturalization, declarations of citizenship by option, and declarations of renunciation of citizenship.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CROWN-IN-COUNCIL:

It is this day ordered by His Royal Highness in Council that, pursuant to the Citizenship Act, ECL 9.001 et seq., those persons who satisfy the definition of an "alien" as set forth in ECL 9.002 and who seek to obtain citizenship by naturalization under ECL 9.005 shall submit the application required by that section by means of the electronic transmission of "Form N-100: Application for Naturalization", which shall be formatted in a manner determined to be appropriate by the Lord High Chancellor and made available on the official website of the Government.

It is further ordered that those persons who seek to claim citizenship by option under ECL 9.006 shall submit the declaration required by that section by means of the electronic transmission of "Form C-100: Declaration of Citizenship by Option", which shall be formatted in a manner determined to be appropriate by the Lord High Chancellor and made available on the official website of the Government.

It is further ordered that those persons who seek to renounce their citizenship under ECL 9.008 shall submit the declaration required by that section by means of the electronic transmission of "Form RC-900: Declaration of Renunciation of Citizenship", which shall be formatted in a manner determined to be appropriate by the Lord High Chancellor and made available on the official website of the Government.

It is further ordered that the Lord High Chancellor shall review each form submitted pursuant to these Orders with all deliberate speed and shall issue and electronically transmit a determination of status to the submitter not later than 30 days after the date on which the form was submitted.
